the reason it wouldn't work is simple; Humans are harder to kill then cows, horses, pigs, dogs & roses
Eugenics is abhorrent but it's goal is to breed out weaknesses not to kill current populations. Of course history has shown it is often paired with genocide. Also it erroneously assumes we are pure nature and not nurture.

That is however what eugenics attempts to do. It is also what cultivation and animal breeding has been doing for centuries. I wasn't arguing for the efficacy of eugenics but against your statement regarding the killing of current stock.
