By suggesting all people that voted leave are racists is a very blinkered and ignorant standpoint (ironically the traits of racists). I voted leave so the UK could have control over setting it’s own laws and trade deals. #Brexit

Also I didn't say that everyone who vote leave are racists. I said that the only benefits to Brexit are for the rich and for racists. That is not the same thing. The rich and racists voted because that's what they are. Everyone else was mislead by lies.

I’m not rich or racist and I wasn’t misled, I’m very well informed have a high IQ and made an informed decision. You keep assuming things about other people because they don’t share your view. I can see both sides of the coin and made my choice but respect the opposing view !

In which case can you at least tell me one tangible benefit of Brexit ? Been asking this for 3 years and still haven't had an answer. How will our lives improve ? Surely that must be the reason to do it ? To improve our lives ?

Our lives will improve because we will have laws and guidelines set by the UK government not by unelected bureaucrats in Brussels. Money now paid to the EU will then be used for domestic issues not propping up the failing EU.

But our laws ARE set by the UK government. And what do you think the EU elections are about ? Also we have unelected bureaucrats all over the place like Cummings for one. The Lords for another. As for the cost. It is a pittance: https://www.richardcorbett.org.uk/eu-membership-costs-us-a-fortune/ …. No valid reasons there.

You've decided that leaving the EU should happen regardless of the cost. You're desire for "independence" blinds you to the realities of our place in the world. Sadly this is a cost you're seeking to impose on us all. A cost that wasn't evident in 2016. It's hard to respect that.

You should have researched things , as I did, before you voted or are you one of the thousands who couldn’t be bothered to vote but complain afterwards !

I voted remain. I weighed up the pros and cons. I saw through the lies of the leave campaign and dismissed much of project fear. However I now have an even clearer idea of the adverse impact of Brexit which reinforces my vote in 2016. You suggested we'd be better off!

Well that makes two of us that did their research, it transpired more people made my choice than yours, that’s democracy for you !

Millions of people voted based on lies and false promises. You started this conversation by restating the unicorn promise of "money pouring in". Something patently untrue. So either you said that to justify the madness of Brexit or your "research" is the Daily Telegraph.
