You're talking crap. If you're entitled to a full UK passport you're a UK citizen. If you are entitled to settled status in the UK you should have the vote. One does not negate the other.

Not “no taxation without representation” then? You’re arguing that FoM is wrong?

You seem confused. Full UK citizens are entitled to vote regardless. EU citizens, whilst living and working here and therefore paying taxes, should also have a say in how those taxes are spent. I think you know this but have no real argument so just bluster.

I’m not confused. I asked you if the ones that were not working or paying taxes were ok with you too? You said it was based on settled status. FOM says that isn’t necessary. What is it?

Anyone who would qualify for settled status under the current scheme should be entitled to vote. Anyone paying taxes for a continuous period before an election should be entitled to vote. All full UK citizens should be entitled to vote.

Against EU law then? Interesting. You didn’t come across as a leave supporter

You are once again talking crap. You have no argument against EU citizens who contribute to this country voting so you need to do your little dance. Dance away but no one is watching.

What about non EU citizens? The argument about EU ones is done, it’s Eu law. Why would you want to be in a situation where another countries citizens can significantly affect another’s government?

Please show any EU law preventing a sovereign member increasing it's franchise in anyway it judges appropriate. As for non EU citizens we currently allow commonwealth citizens living here a vote.

Any EU law preventing a member state widening its franchise in anyway it sees fit? Still waiting for you to back up your previously false statement.
