Sir Desmond Swayne: "Opposition parties supported giving EU citizens the vote in our general election which sums up the absurdity of our Parliament against the People."

You seem confused. Full UK citizens are entitled to vote regardless. EU citizens, whilst living and working here and therefore paying taxes, should also have a say in how those taxes are spent. I think you know this but have no real argument so just bluster.

I’m not confused. I asked you if the ones that were not working or paying taxes were ok with you too? You said it was based on settled status. FOM says that isn’t necessary. What is it?

Anyone who would qualify for settled status under the current scheme should be entitled to vote. Anyone paying taxes for a continuous period before an election should be entitled to vote. All full UK citizens should be entitled to vote.
