It's unlikely Parliament is abt to vote to dissolve itself & hold an election. The Opposition Parties, usually so keen for an election, are shy abt meeting electors on the doorstep to give them the chance of change. The SNP & Lib Dem offer is tactical & linked to stopping Brexit.

We need an election to try to change the personnel of Parliament. The gap b/w what Parliament wants re Brexit & what voters want is too great. Worse still, many MPs were elected to deliver Brexit only to go back on their word & do everything in their power to delay or prevent it.

"Change the personnel" - to people who all think the same way - like you do perhaps? We need a mixture of views and ideas - it's called 'democracy'.
