My preferred form of Leaving is to Leave with No Deal because the withdrawal agreement that was agreed between us and the EU was designed to be rejected, and eventually lead to another referendum with the intention of frightening us to keep us in. It seems to have worked on you.

So those who voted for a different form of Brexit aren't the "we" you mentioned earlier anymore?

🤦🏽‍♂️ We all voted to Leave the EU, plain and simple. The HOW we leave was never an option to vote for at the time. The withdrawal agreement was not known at the referendum vote so it would not have been possible to know what preference we might have until we knew about it.

We know now. So a final say is therefore essential.

I agree. We now know what the withdrawal agreement looks like and you're right, we should be able to decide if we like the means of Leaving. So we agree. A referendum on how we Leave is essential. No Deal or Accept the WA.

Our knowledge of what the actual cost and impact of any form of Brexit will be has also changed so, given that, it will also be on any ballot.

I rather think that the Remain campaign of 2019/2020 is hardly likely to exceed the warnings of doom and pestilence that the Remain campaign of 2016 used. We now know that our economy will continue to grow outside the EU, which is a far cry from what the Remain campaign told us.

I think we are due to have a General Election first where you and all the other unsatisfied people can all vote for the Lib Dems as foiling Brexit is so important to you, and me and all the democrats can all vote for The Tories and TBP (in the North). Not scared of a GE are you?

A GE to solve a single issue like Brexit is like knocking down your house to unclog the drains.

So vote for who you like based on their other policies. Fact remains this Govt won't give you another referendum. If you want one you are going to have to change the makeup of the Govt or Parliament.

So although it's unlikely given present circumstances you agree a referendum and not a GE is the proper mechanism to resolve Brexit?

No, I don't agree another referendum on Brexit is the answer to the current gridlock. It is not Brexit that is the problem, it is the people we charged with deciding how we proceed that seem to be unable to agree how we do so. Polls show people think we must respect the result.

Many polls show a majority now exists for remain. Polls though are pretty inaccurate snapshots, right? Anyhow this has been interesting but I'm of to watch some Columbo ☺ bye for now.
