For me to respect it I'd have to respect how it was achieved. It's very clear since 2016 that it was by lies, false promises, manipulation and a good old dollop of xenophobia. If it hadn't been advisory it would quite rightly overturned. However it can be resolved in a final say.

I rather think that the Remain campaign of 2019/2020 is hardly likely to exceed the warnings of doom and pestilence that the Remain campaign of 2016 used. We now know that our economy will continue to grow outside the EU, which is a far cry from what the Remain campaign told us.
We all voted to Leave the EU, plain and simple.
The HOW we leave was never an option to vote for at the time.
The withdrawal agreement was not known at the referendum vote so it would not have been possible to know what preference we might have until we knew about it.-

All you have to do is convince Govt. As this Govt doesn't seem to want to hold another referendum you appear to be a bit stuck. But there is a remedy, vote in a GE. You can get a Parliament in that will agree to hold another referendum, but you can only do so in a GE.

This may now be true. The next few days will determine that. Question: who should a leave with a deal brexiteer vote for in a GE if they don't want 5 years of Tory rule?
