      Winter is 3 months not 6. December 22nd to March 20th. I personally don't think "winter" is a good reason to not have a GE though. There are plenty of other reasons though.

          You would have thought he would be desperate for a GE. Seems contrary to complain about Boris not being elected and Tories not having a mandate but reject repeated offers to have a GE?
