Could it be more to do with a generous benefits system and better way of life? Maybe we should stop being a soft touch and then maybe they wont want to come here, i predict they probably passed through some nice countries to get here
I have no doubt what the UK offers inspires them to head here. There is also no doubt our borders need tightening. However they were illegal the whole journey and not moving freely via FOM.

Agreed hence the reason I never mentioned freedom of movement, my response wasnt a critic of the ones before it just my opinion on possibly why they tried and what we can do about it

Fine. Given the increasing mass movement it's a very tricky and emotive subject. One that, I fear, will see many mistakes and missteps towards seeking resolutions.
