Given how the last 3.5 years has been about little else than Brexit this is clearly a new use of the word "ignore"!
Actually I'm sorry to say that triggering art50 gave NO legal binding to the referendum or indeed brexit. All that can do that is the passing of the WAB. That's why it is still legitimate to revoke art50 unilaterally. The AG confirmed this very recently in parliament.

Well done, finally something accurate. Though there is no will in parliament to revoke. It's also true that the next tory majority could just force a hard brexit through Parliament. The Brexit cat is out of the bag, and it isn't going back in.
