Remain promised a better deal and more prosperity outside of the EU than in it. That alone, given the reality we now face, is radically different.

Speaking as someone who's not even from your part of the world, now, I am curious, the EU isn't doing well financially and is riddled with political instability. Why would you want to tie yourself to it? Not trying to start anything. Just wanted to know what you see as benefits.

It's a fine question. I believe we should be strong, productive members of the EU and by working together with our 27 neighbours make a strong bloc able to face up to a globalised world.
