No, you are arguing that every election without a quorum should not be respected. Its a dumb argument both practically and historically.

I'm arguing that 2016 should not dictate this country's future since what was promised then turned out to be false AND only 37% of the electorate voted for it.

I would accept the first part as a genuine argument if it were true but the second part is nonsense. Again, what percentage fits your sensibilities when it comes to democracy?

It's not about the percentage. It's about people who think democracy froze in 2016. Who ignore the fact that reality has swept away the lies and unicorns. Who think 2016 gives them a right to damage lives of in direct contradiction of what leave promised without asking.

Democracy IS frozen until that democratic vote is implemented, don't come the "more democracy" crap, you can't be that daft surely.
