Nope even the lies, false promises and manipulations of leave didn't remove it from the discussion. 2019 reality > 2016 fantasy.

Remain is dead and we are not having anymore referendums on the same subject, at least until the result of the 2016 referendum has been implemented.

Fortunately it's not up to you!

I can assure you that the people will not let that occur so actually, it is.

You can assure nothing of the kind. In case you were unaware the millions calling for one are also the people.

Its really not a surprise that those who lost the referendum wish they had won. What is surprising is that so many of them seem more than willing to fatally undermine democracy because of it - Remember, those who break the system won't be the ones who put it back together again.

It's not surprising that those who "won" don't care how that win was achieved. Or that the lies and false promises of leave once exposed to reality curled up and died. Or that the destination has changed from sunlit uplands to fields of shit. Nope just plow on regardless!

The referendum was no more or less dishonest on either side than the average general election. This isn't a banana republic where you get to unilaterally declare votes to be null and void simply because you lost. And non-membership of the EU is still non-membership of the EU.

No one is unilaterally doing anything. People are asking to have a final say on something that will impact their lives for generations. You think that democracy froze in 2016 and ignore the referendums serious failings. You dress it up as saving democracy but it's not.

People were asked if they wanted to remain part of a political union with Europe. And they said no.
