Former Attorney General Dominic Grieve told Maajid Nawaz that a general election wouldn't resolve the Brexit deadlock - and a second referendum would be the better option.

So many people on this thread seeming to think it's referendum or GE. It will be both. A referendum to unclog Brexit followed by a GE to unclog parliament. As for not including remain as a choice please grow up!

Remain died on 230616.

Nope even the lies, false promises and manipulations of leave didn't remove it from the discussion. 2019 reality > 2016 fantasy.

Remain is dead and we are not having anymore referendums on the same subject, at least until the result of the 2016 referendum has been implemented.

I can assure you that the people will not let that occur so actually, it is.

You can assure nothing of the kind. In case you were unaware the millions calling for one are also the people.

Its really not a surprise that those who lost the referendum wish they had won. What is surprising is that so many of them seem more than willing to fatally undermine democracy because of it - Remember, those who break the system won't be the ones who put it back together again.

It's not surprising that those who "won" don't care how that win was achieved. Or that the lies and false promises of leave once exposed to reality curled up and died. Or that the destination has changed from sunlit uplands to fields of shit. Nope just plow on regardless!
