How about the desire to get Brexit "done" before the scrutiny of offshore savings? Incentive enough to push for something bad for the country as a whole?

They are honouring the people, if there was ever any worry over any shady dealings the whole of Parliament should have worked together on any deal on behalf of their masters.

I've no idea what you are trying to say. You don't think Brexit has folks backing it for personal gain? You don't think the manipulators of 2016 did it for anything but their own selfish interests? Yet those wishing to prevent harm to the UK are just in it for themselves. Really?

I think it's pretty safe to say 17.4 million people weren't thinking about personal gain considering the entire remain argument was to scare people on the basis of financial ruin, those are the only important people in this fight, they are the ones it's all about.

The 37% of the electorate who voted leave in 2016 are the only important people in 2019? Again I ask really?

Not that stupid argument

What is your percentage for a democratic vote to be accepted?
I assume you never accept any vote that doesn't meet your criteria?
Dumbest argument the remainers invented lol1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes -
You're arguing that that percentage of people should be the arbiter of everything concerning this country's future for generations to come. If you truly believe that then you are truly lost.

No, you are arguing that every election without a quorum should not be respected. Its a dumb argument both practically and historically.

I'm arguing that 2016 should not dictate this country's future since what was promised then turned out to be false AND only 37% of the electorate voted for it.

I would accept the first part as a genuine argument if it were true but the second part is nonsense. Again, what percentage fits your sensibilities when it comes to democracy?

It's not about the percentage. It's about people who think democracy froze in 2016. Who ignore the fact that reality has swept away the lies and unicorns. Who think 2016 gives them a right to damage lives of in direct contradiction of what leave promised without asking.
