The Letwin Amendment was a result of the Benn Act not expecting a UK/EU WA Deal back today thereby triggering an extension to 31 Jan. This was a panic measure to reinsert the 3 month delay for one reason only to thwart a deal. The public want an orderly Brexit this doesn’t help.

How do you know that’s what the people want? We haven’t been asked

Sorry, did you not hear - we had a referendum in 2016 where 17.41 million UK citizens (52% of eligible voters) voted to leave. Maybe you'll have to wait 40 yrs to get your say, like I had too

It was 37% of eligible voters. They voted based on a remain campaign of lies and unicorns in an advisory referendum. Inconvenient truths for you but truths nonetheless.

Correct about the numbers, I meant 52% of those who voted. Re- the vote - lies were told on both sides, I would have voted leave without any campaigning. I didn't need to be persuaded by false promises.

Doesn’t matter the reason does it? Every remain voter voted for their own reason too. How about all those that voted for the status quo because they didn’t understand or were too thick. They were too young and didn’t know what the EU was about etc etc

Of course the reason matters if that reason was based on lies!
#PeoplesVote is the only way to resolve it.2 replies 0 retweets 0 likes -
We should be having a GE then because of all the politicians who stood on manifestos that said they would the result but have done everything but

A GE doesn't show a specific will regarding Brexit only a referendum in light of what we now know does that.
