Hmm surrenders the right of the government to use the lives and livelihoods of millions of UK citizens as a bargaining chip. Seems pretty damn sensible to anyone sane.
We can disagree without it being a sanity issue. I voted to Remain but I am not prepared to have a permissive democracy where the “gastric pub” elite think they get to veto popular decisions they don’t like.
Goverment last time I checked is executive of the will of parliament not the other way round. We vote the MP'S to be our executives not the cabinet. Unless we had become a totalitarian nation the executive is there to serve a sovereign parliament.

It’s like this: as effective as threatening to leave the meeting room and punch yourself repeatedly in the face if your don’t get what you want. Right outside the meeting room door. Everyone watching through the glass. It’s that ineffective.
