A referendum will show one way or another. A GE will just further muddy the waters. I wonder why so many brexiteer "democrats" are against one

If a 2nd referendum resulted in 52-48% in favour of remain but on a smaller turnout - what would happen then? Genuine question

If, as it should be, it was legally binding then A50 would be immediately revoked. Likewise if the leave option wins that should immediately be implemented. It needs to be an informed and untainted process.

And you really think that would resolve things and be the end of the matter? I voted remain, I wanted to remain but I respect democracy. The referendum needs to be honoured

Hmm. To respect the result you'd also have to respect the way that it was achieved. You'd have to respect the lies and unicorns of the leave campaign. To honour something so dishonourable is not democracy but madness.
