      The US wasn't expected to step in but simply not to rashly step out. As for Turkey of course they deserve severe condemnation for their actions. However to say Trump's actions had no effect on their decisions is pure fantasy.

      You're defending the indefensible. The situation in Turkey is under discussion not the US global policy. Withdrawal of those troops, rashly on the whim of a severely out of control president with serious conflicts of interest, was wrong. Not seeing that makes you equally so.
