Remainers who think they can get away with a Remain vs Basically Remain second referendum need to get a grip. It disrespects the original result and would freeze millions - the majority - out of democracy. A recipe for protracted turmoil.https://twitter.com/Thehackandhound/status/1181470697740292096 …

No second referendum without enacting the first. Or else the UK ceases to be a democratic state....and strangely enough would fail to uphold the ECHRA....ironic no.

The referendum had no legal weight. No ECHRA implications what so ever. If it had been backed by law it would have been overturned. Now that's ironic!

Overturned! Listen to yourself....overturning a majority democratic vote of the British people...you must be such an example to your children!

Given your lack of knowledge you must be a very poor one. A legally binding referendum would have been overturned this was shown in courts after the result. It was however non-binding and this has never not been the case. Facts hurt, sorry.

A very poor what? Be more cogent. Sorry, ‘a legally binding referendum would have been overturned’? On what basis? By who? And it is now binding...hence the notice to withdraw. Enjoy being angry (and deluded) when we leave and each day thereafter.

A very poor example. Simple if you read. Nope the 2016 referendum is and never has been legally binding. Article 50 can be revoked with no legal implications. I suggest you have your kids google it all for you.
