I'd rather it wasn't too, because we had many problems that were overdue in needing sorting even before the referendum. However I think it's kind of inevitable that any future election with have that new dividing line - and so I don't think it should stop us.

Electing a new Parliament may change things, or it may not. By definition you cannot call a ‘Brexit’ general election. (May tried that in 2017 and it backfired badly). Regrettably the only way to get a definitive answer from public on Brexit direction now is a 2nd referendum.

I don't agree. If the new ref went the same way as the previous one, I have no confidence that the current crop of parliamentarians would honour it.
