Yes. This was not a true no-confidence vote. Withdrawing a whip (Nadine Dorris/Charlie Elphicke) is a disciplinary suspension. This is purging through deselection immediately before an election. It is an assault by the centre on the independent judgement of constituency MPs.

Well just start with the near 500 MP's who did vote for A50 knowing that a No Deal WTO exit was the default position if no deal was agreed - and then rejected the WA three times. Plus many others who read A50 before the referendum and saw DC on interview and knew it was possible

No deal was seen as part of project fear by leavers. It was downplayed by the campaign consistently. In the EU elections a minority of the population voted for those proposing it. A50 had to be invoked for negotiations to begin. It has NO mandate.
