Unless Farage wins 51% of the vote he can no longer repeat the lie that the majority of voters want No Deal. Be careful what you wish for Nigel. You may win the battle. But you won’t win the war. I will never stop fighting No Deal. Never. If you want to fight it too, VOTE.

Except that's not how voting works is it? If you had 500 different options and the winner got 2%, its still the winner. That means that more people want that, than want the other options.

This is seen as a single issue election by
@brexitparty_uk. Their single policy is a WTO brexit. The vote for it will be those who agree or have been fooled into believing it's about democracy. To declare it confirms a mandate for no deal at 35 vs 65 is further deceit.2 replies 0 retweets 2 likes -

So just asking. If the Labour Party win the next election with 42% of the votes u would consider that illegitimate & that they don't have a mandate becoz 58% of the electorate don't agree with them? I would say if Leave parties get 40% or more 4 no deal that's pretty significant

Assuming they controlled the house. FPTP has it's flaws. As an indicator of support for a no deal Brexit 40% isn't enough when 60% didn't support one. If a mandate is being sought the people need to choose. It seems it's now no deal vs remain?

You didn't answer the question. There would never be a mandate for any government ever with what you are suggesting. On your second point the only options if there is another vote should be No Deal vs May's deal. Remain lost it should have ceased to be an option in 2016

If it had been WTO as the goal not the default without all the lies and unicorns vs Remain in 2016 it would have lost. This has not been tested and needs to be.

Sorry that's nonsense. No-one has tried to implement it and you know. They changed the law to stop us leaving. That's all you need to know. And lies? Remain were far far worse it happens in every election campaign & we don't question or overturn results.

We are never going to agree. You have your beliefs and I have mine. I believe a no deal Brexit will damage many like me and mine who are just about managing. I will therefore do what little I can to stop it. I expect a government who's ultimate duty to protect us to do the same.

And that's fair enough. The government's duty is to do what they said they would do and implement the result (I'm sure you've seen DC;s speech) However you are correct we will never agree so enjoy the rest of your night.
