Whatever side you're on, our common ground should always be freedom of speech. At least then, we can still talk.

Depends what you define “cost” as? What if I said something more contentious? People have lost their jobs unjustly through their so called freedom to speak. We’re slowly but surely seeing a shutting down of freedom of speech which is rationalised by “hate speech”.

It is certainly a minefield. Companies, I guess, have a right to protect their "reputation". It seems putting "these are my views only" on twitter isn't enough. I'm, like many, torn on the whole subject.
