It can be proved one way or another in a confirmatory referendum. Does that scare you? GATT 24 is a red herring. No deal means pure WTO including the double edged sword of MFN. Comparing the border between Spain and Gibraltar lacks any understanding of history.

Evidence that article 24 is a red herring. History doesn’t come into it, if a border is required in Ireland then it will also be required in Gibraltar, and if you don’t think a border is required in Gibraltar explain why, because currently there is no hard border in Gibraltar

There is already a hard border for goods and people between Gibraltar and Spain because Gib is not in the Customs Union or Schengen.

You are spot on with people having little understanding of the difference in the borders in Gibraltar and Ireland, when people say there is no difference it kind of ends the conversation knowing they don’t know anything about the history in Ireland and the Good Friday agreement
