      No it's not. Manipulating that fear and then folks basing their vote on that fear is. Also "independence" as a political stance would be achieved via the WA. WTO would be a serious economic misstep.

      The Commonwealth is the way to go... most are our friends, and we betrayed them.. as opposed to most in the EU....

      Our trade into the EU is 43% our trade into the commonwealth is 9%. That's why the largest members of the commonwealth, like India, back remaining. As we act as a friendly gateway to one of the largest markets in the world. BTW the commonwealth is not a trade bloc.

      You are naive re the EU...It is a controlling bloc.. eventually wants its own Army.. to leave would mean Soviet style intervention...

      Certainly an interesting take on the trajectory of history. Truth be told I definitely think we should stay in now. Perhaps our moderating voice can allay this dystopia. I'd hate to be isolated on this side of the channel if not!
