What has the Customs Union done for us? UK exports of goods to the EU have grown by just 0.2% on average; dwarfed by goods exports to the rest of the world (3.3% a year) Since the ‘90s, a deficit in goods with the EU of £6bn has ballooned to £95bn a year https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2019/apr/04/customs-union-soft-brexit-trade-goods …
Thank goodness it will so much better under WTO....oh no wait it won't! Bonus we can look forward to the US demanding we take chlorinated chicken for a deal.

You really don’t have to buy it or eat it, ever heard of consumer choice? Or are you expecting the CIA to come over and start chicken boarding the UK public en masse?

Oh, and you had best avoid that chlorinated water too!

The point that seems to have sailed over your head is the effects of WTO terms. We have non tariff barriers for reason. Food standards is one and protecting home producers is another.
