MPs have voted 315 to 310 in favour of a bill to rule out leaving with no deal. Has it finally got through to Tory Brexiteers that in the absence of a deal the legal default position would NOT be leaving with no deal?
You are of course assuming that 17.4 million were voting for no deal. If you went to them now and said, this will make you poorer, what would be the reaction?

I can’t speak for everyone, but I do remember being told by the media and politicians that the country would basically collapse if we voted to leave. I assume the others heard the same.

That's a very good point and project fear was pure arrogance on behalf of remain. The argument should have been on the EU benifits. The dangers of no deal are far more measurable, though, and need to be avoided.
