MPs have voted 315 to 310 in favour of a bill to rule out leaving with no deal. Has it finally got through to Tory Brexiteers that in the absence of a deal the legal default position would NOT be leaving with no deal?

No, it doesn't rule out no deal. All the bill does is mandate the PM seek an Article 50 extension, which she has said she'll do anyway. MPs cannot change EU law. Options remain vote for a deal, leave with no deal or revoke.

Deal or Revoke becomes the default seems to be the likely outcome of this vote. So, it really will rule out an exit with no deal.

That's incorrect, no deal remains the default. This bill (if and when it eventually passes) only mandates the PM seek an Article 50 extension, which she has said she'll do anyway. If the EU say no and or/ no deal is agreed, the UK will still leave without a deal.

Yes, and what you said is incorrect. This bill, if passed does not rule out no deal.

Because it doesn't by itself change the law regarding a leave date.

Replying to @ElJeppy @ghost_motley and
And revoking article 50 requires primary legislation authorising revocation. This does not give that authority.
