Oliver Letwin on @BBCr4today shows he does not have the first understanding that a customs union with the EU would not be frictionless, and that such would give EU complete control of our trading conditions. Not fit to be an MP, let alone one destroying our constitution.

No that's a pretty juvenile extreme. However we can leave & wto will offer us transition while we roll over some and make new trade deals. We can then reduce tariffs to make us more competitive, have free ports reduce taxes on green items etc. All doable not unicorns, facts.

You mean like the 40 cut and paste deals that should have been in place by the 29/3. So far only 8. How many years under WTO? How about the safeguards we enjoy within the EU? Why would US agree to those for instance? Genuine concerns are not juvenile.
