    very sad as a close friend from uni died. We haven’t been in touch for 2 years as life just got in the way and now he is dead please, look up an old friend, someone who you keep meaning to call, and actually call them. It isn’t too late

    Couldn't agree more. It feels like there's been a huge rise in betting ads in the last couple of years PLUS apps at finger tips.

    This is such a wonderful thread & then following conversation. Makes me want to be a librarian! I dearly hope we still have libraries so i can work in 1 when i retire...

    So there was a MYSTERY at the library today. A wee old women came in and said "I've a question. Why does page 7 in all the books I take out have the 7 underlined in pen? It seems odd." "What?" I say, thinking she might be a bit off her rocker. She showed me, and they did.

    I turned 30 this weekend. It was awesome. Especially so because when I was 22 I was diagnosed with cancer and didn’t know if I would make 23, let alone 30. So let’s retire this ‘life is over at 30’. Getting older is a privilege that not everyone is lucky enough to experience.🎂

    Some worth remembering from an allergy specialist!

    Part 3/7 In a pat with a hx of non-allergic angioedema (not urticaria+angioedema or urticaria alone) an ACE-I should not be prescribed. And any individual who develops angioedema whilst taking an ACE-I; the ACE should be stopped.

    I have a friend critically ill at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center who can’t get transferred to Stanford for more advanced care without a $1M deposit. What kind of morals are reflected in our society when you know you can save someone’s life but refuse to do so bc of payment?!
