Also you can expose any new fields added to users profile without doing a thing.

"In the code below, we use a convenient ES6 spread operator to strip the password property from the user object before returning it." Just one more reason to love Typescript.

For book lovers: switch from Amazon to Kobo It's cheaper and independent. And also much more efficient in helping you pick out new

doesn't want to hear both sides of an argument. It's all about absolutes. We want the juice! We want to hear "this is shit!", "you are wrong!". "THIS is the best/worst thing ever" Who cares about the truth, we want DRAMA!

That's because microservices are supposed to model different areas of a business, not different areas of a homogeneous system. Splitting an e-commerce site into "CartService", "MvcService" etc is insanity.

The amount of time I've spent trying to make EF do even slightly non-trivial things far outweighs the amount of time saved with it. And I can't even remember the last time I used change tracking. Do any web projects actually use it?

I am yet to see a system that benefited from code-first ORM approach (EF, nHibernate style). Disallowing SQL queries is a massive and unnecessary limitation. Your DB engine is powerful. Use it.

"You six hours and have 18 hours left. Now, I know there are some of you out there that say well, wait a minute, I sleep eight hours or nine hours. Well, than, just sleep faster, I would recommend." Terrible advice. Sleep properly, it pays off.
