I travelled by car in the Highlands the other week. I got lost endlessly searching for Fort William amongst all the An Gearasdans. The number of times I missed my turning made me wish the signs were in one language or the other, but not both

How much has it cost for Gaelic Signage that nobody understands ?

It's not the cost that worries me. The dual language signage makes driving in the Highlands dangerous

No. When you have twice to read on the signs you spend less time paying attention to the road. It's dangerous

I heard a visit Scotland advert on Talk Radio this morning, are you open, are the thick calved Nationalists still on the border? There is a total mismatch of English hatred, having minimal overseas visitors especially American, claiming Scotland is Shut/open & business bankruptcy

So after people can travel from abroad, come up north, trying to find their way around, get lost because of the road signs. Great!
