No faith in bipartisan changes? I could see simple incremental ones passing the 7/8 bar.

We need much more than incremental changes though. And when was the last time anything passed with such a majority? :)

There are many things wrong with labor regulation in this country. For one, health insurance should not be tied to a job. But it’s the system we have and we shouldn’t lock in an exemption for a particularly disruptive industry

Yes, I'm glad that 22 does require companies to pay for gig workers' healthcare. There's a lot of flat-out misinformation out there about what is in 22 (including in Li & Kurtis's posts), which is upsetting.
