He's playing for time - the long ball game of memory . The UK won't forget .
-
By 2024 the prevailing memory most heavily promoted will be the brilliantly organised vaccination programme. Not helped by the sad fact that none of the other parties would probably have in reality done any better.

He's admitted responsibility. He may not understand what that means. It means he is unfit to be PM and should resign. Since he won't call for a vote of no confidence. Chances are some Tory will be eager enough for power to help organise enough of them to oust him.
-
He has filled his cabinet with Brexiteer no marks. No one is going to vote no confidence because he has an 80 majority & he just helped win them their seat. That kind of pressure can only be used when the majority is marginal & they think they might lose their seats..in 4 years

Johnson does not care. He serves his backers not the public. The shredding machines will be working overtime before any inquiry, and hard drives miraculously wiped, just wait and see...

They do indeed Ed. A full and independent inquiry, judge lead, with full authority to name and shame those who have contributed to the UK's awful death rates. If Johnson won't commit to a date for the inquiry, then HM's opposition, and Lib Dems, SNP, and PC must insist he does.
