If these leftist lawmakers truly believed magazine capacity was an issue, they would be pushing for single shot firearms not some arbitrary number. It’s all about seeing what people are willing to allow the gov’t to get away with. Power over the people.

The people who thought up and help draft the Second Amendment didn't do it after they got back from a hunting trip. No; they had just fought a war for independence.

We'll be keeping our AR15's around because of this POS & others of his ilk.pic.twitter.com/qB2jkLN2Mg

I lived in Korea for awhile, and anytime people told me we don't need guns or that only the police need guns, I always say, "You need to look into the Gwangju Massacre of 1980."

But sometimes those sketchy deer tho...

My .270 caliber .
@winchester holds 5 shots. I only need one. Sometimes 2. Any more than that and the meat is ruined. I'm from rural Nova Scotia, and I hunt to eat...not for a trophy. -
Same here...but here is a fun fact...as we were cleaning a dear...two heavily armed men came up to us...and said the dear we were cleaning was theirs...needless to say...when they saw me standing there...armed to the teeth...weapons ready...they shut their mouths...and walked on.

The 2nd Amendment protects all the other amendments. You take away the 2nd all the others would fall.

I think that’s the point that the left is trying for.

Think beyond the Left. Think Globalists. The leftists are just a part of the team.

Yes, One reason China said they never tried an "invasion" was because of the fact we are allowed to bear arms. They would never be able to defeat us with that in place. This is why they wish to take it away. So we can become like Europe, sitting ducks.
-
Not to mention that trying to bring an invasion force across the Pacific would be decimated in minutes. We DON'T need to worry about a Chinese invasion. We need to be mad that Chinese soldiers continually harass ours in Africa and the SCS. Saw it all the time while I was deployed
-
I hear ya. My father hated going overseas both when he was in the military and after he retired working for an oil company. But I just mentioned the comment to illustrate why it's important for us to keep the 2nd Amendment

-
Oh absolutely. That's an amendment worth fighting for. We see that every day when China dominates these countries that don't have a similar amendment or right, all over Africa and Asia especially

No, it was written so that there was a well-regulated militia available to quell uprisings such as Shay's Rebellion.https://www.khanacademy.org/humanities/us-history/road-to-revolution/creating-a-nation/a/shayss-rebellion …
-
Curtis, while a militia is mentioned, out explicitly states "the right OF THE PEOPLE" to keep and bear arms", not "the right of the militia to keep and bear arms". SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED also has meaning which you apparently wish to dismiss. Nice try. Read it all.
