So we agree. More studies would be needed before we could just shout ivermectin has a "miraculous impact" and that "if you take it you will not get sick" or that it "obliterates transmission of COVID".

Did you watch the video from the WHO sponsored meta analysis? He himself used the word “transformational” and said “we need to figure out optimal dosing” There have been 11 RCTs, he says they want to see the 3 coming in Jan(why not wait for 80 RCTs?)https://youtu.be/yOAh7GtvcOs

Yes I did. I haven't read the studies he analyzed but I intend to today. My point was that he concluded that they needed more data to confirm what he suspects is true.

Yes, it is. Seriously, when I see #Ivermectin being pushed by the same people who pushed #Hydroxychloroquine using exactly the same bad arguments and kinds of dubious studies, it’s, as Yogi Berra once said, déjà vu all over again.

Interestingly, #Ivermectin fans are now citing a dodgy "meta-analysis" video done by someone who's a consultant for @WHO and @UNITAID and representing it as the WHO endorsing Ivermectin as "transformational" for #COVID19. Uh, no. That's just his opinion, not that of the WHO.🙄

Dear David, This meta-analysis of randomised trials of ivermectin has been funded by Unitaid as part of the ACT Accelerator program. The results will be reviewed by WHO in the near future. Full report will be posted online in next 10 days.

He's strongly opposed to ivermectin likely because he looks and behaves like a worm.

This tool likes to rewrite history and claim the current proponents of ivermectin were "hcq pushers" when in reality they were the docs who saw the benefit of steroids months before recovery trial, and saved thousands of lives with math+. Armchair experts like this are useless

Actually, useless is not a fair descriptor. Dangerous pushers of horrific evidence based medicine mispractice, tantamount to a crime against humanity, is more appropriate. Perhaps read the work of folks like Jadad et al who literally wrote the book on application of EBM.

Sir, my work brings me into contact with many Wormian Americans, and I can assure you they look nothing like Dr Gorski. Also, I think many of them would be upset you were using them as a term of disparagement.
