Well, it's one of the greatest noirs ever, so I should hope there's some excitement about it. I don't think it's much visually, but oh what story, and so well told.

I was the PD at a small PBS station in Ohio. We aired this & other Fox films when NTA had TV rights back in the early ‘70s. The engineer on duty (who threaded up the film on 16mm) told me “That was the weirdest damn movie I’ve ever seen”. Looking forward to your comments.
