Fabulous poster! "M" inspires some amazing imagery. Here is one of my very favorite cinematic pictures ever from the 1931 version

Oh dear, I thought it was #M 1931 but I see it is #M 1951 - which I didnt even know existed until Eddie Muller introduced it just now. Well, lucky me, a new #filmnoir to watch! #NoirAlley #TCMParty

I’ve only seen the original German version. Excited to see this version.

Horrible remake. The worst since Planet of the Apes with Mark Whalberg. Why wouldn't you show the original with Peter Lorre?
Proud and humbled to be an owner of that incredible Ballester original thanks to legendary poster collector Benito Medela, honoring a film long undervalued in critical circles & getting its due at last. Other seminal lesser-known Losey: THE LAWLESS (1950), DVD from Olive.

My first time seeing this intense & remarkable film. When the interior of the Bradbury Bldg came into view, I realized “I’ve been there!” Yep, thanks to taking a TCM film location tour in LA. The cinematography in this film was top notch.
