I've just seen how much response to this and would just like to say that some people are making the very valid comment that I seem to glossing over the threats JKR has received. Those threats are vile and have no place in the world.

Others have pointed out that I am a man commenting on what is largely a womens' issue. Again, fair point, I will try to bear that in mind in the future. But I doubt you would take issue with it if we shared the same opinion.

Assuming you're not being glib, changing your conclusions because someone you typically disagree with agrees with you in one case is logically deeply stupid. It also means you are letting whomever you're opposed to define your thinking.
