@diegodiazdr@Ed_Miliband Its not that people can't afford one people can't always find the money to buy outright. We help by spreading cost -

@Ed_Miliband@sycultd@BrightHouseUK whilst I agree, the number of repayments are not equal on majority. Interesting to see a direct compar -
@liamdunn_131 one costs £11 a week and is paid off in 52 weeks, the other £13 and takes 156 weeks. That is a direct comparison. -
@thegilf I fully agree it's disgraceful, however do bright house figures come down is paid off in the same timescale? -
@liamdunn_131 that doesn't matter - would be different if brighthouse cost less per month over the longer period - it doesn't - costs more! -
@thegilf interest rates can vary massively depending on how long you borrow the money for, so it is kind of relevant -
@liamdunn_131@thegilf Brighthouse only offer the one length of payment plan, the interest is therefore a fixed sum making comparison fair. -
@JackWillis8 I know that now@sycultd confirmed. I wanted to ensure it was s fair comparison and not biased before passing full judgement

@FredJ1958@Ed_Miliband@JOHNMARKAINSLEY@BrightHouseUK BrightHouse only offer the advertised repayment frequency. -
@sycultd Yes but credit period obv affects total repayments.@Ed_Miliband never was good at this sort of thing. Or anything.@BrightHouseUK

@Ed_Miliband@sycultd@BrightHouseUK consumers have the right to choose, don't they? -
@Alex_Sashas@Ed_Miliband@sycultd@BrightHouseUK They do, which is why we're raising awareness of the alternatives.
