Here come another soaker! Rain will become widespread through the evening & continue overnight. Rain will gradually wind Monday morning. When it’s all said and done, most areas will receive 0.5”-1.5”. Lowest amounts west of I-95 and the highest amounts near the coast #scwx #ncwx

37 years ago, the Space Shuttle Challenger exploded 73 seconds into flight killing all 7 onboard including Lake City, SC native Ronald McNair. You could actually see the explosion from space. This image is from the GOES-6 satellite that morning. Do you remember where you were?

Weekend looks nice then a solid shot of soaking rain Sun. night into early Mon. AM. 1." - 1.5" likely across the area. More rain is likely Wednesday and/or Thursday. Despite what some computer-generated apps are telling, we have no snow in the forecast next week. #scwx #ncwx

I had the pleasure of surprising Tyler Caldwell at in N. Myrtle Beach for his 33rd birthday! Always awesome to get a hug from my long time friend. Just a sweet soul. After we chatted for a few, he told me he had to get back to work. I respect that! 😂

Tami Kull captured this awesome photo of a Belted Kingfisher in Garden City. Its meal is almost as big as it is! These birds are tough to photograph because of how fast they move. Love it Tami!

Many photos of this very thin cloud that extended for miles and miles across the sky this AM. These altocumulus/cirrus clouds are being generated by a very powerful southwest to northeast oriented jet stream at 30,000 feet that’s racing along at nearly 200 mph. 📸 Shana McCrea

The active pattern continues. Yet another soaking rain rolls in Sunday night followed by another system mid-late next week. We're making great progress at erasing the drought. #scwx #ncwx
