Very true! However, I believe that "parts make a whole". Hence, it would also be of great benefit if all d subregions (EAC, Ecowas, etc) are performing according to their individual mandates, then integration at the AfCFTA level would have been much more seamless!
Industrialization is key in order to encourage broad-based growth in the continent. For this to happen, regional integration will play an important role in this journey. The African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) is therefore a great step forward!
