    News no longer deliver facts. They deliver perspective -- News as interpreted by a particular reader archetype or POV. What used to be called propaganda is now called "news" in much of the west.

    Did you know there are three types of "slums" in Ecuador? I always figures a slum was slum. The type we visited were Barrios periféricos: Neighborhoods located on the urban edge. Made out mainly of plywood and corrugated metal.
