I applaud Trump for signing the "Right to Try" bill today. It's not often that I applaud him for doing something, so this is a huge occasion. BTW this doesn't wipe out the fact that he conspired against the U.S., obstructed justice, spread hate, and is ruining America.

This is typical Trump "legislation." It guarantees nothing and most analysts say it could make it harder to get new drugs approved.

I wonder....... Does he have personal interest in the drug company(s) of any/all of the drugs used in any/all trials? He doesn't do anything unless it somehow benefits him. However, Ed, I admire your hope that @realDonaldTrump signed this bill for the good of those it will impact

The benefit to trump is more $ to the pharmaceutical companies through relaxed regulation/oversight. This translates to $ to his campaign, which translates to more power to trump in his effort to destroy our democracy, while increasing his and his family’s business ventures.

If we survive this Administration I'd like to think he will have changed the world for the better by demonstrating that dangerous narcissism can make it to the Presidency. This is a mentally ill man and he is at the wheel.

I'm not 100% behind this, Experimental drugs are just that...experimental...that's why we have clinical trials.Should be used as an absolute last resort.or,is this a more sinister way to treat people after he eliminated their healthcare? Hm? No health insurance,?let's experiment!

I’m not familiar with this bill, but there are many things I’d like to insert at the end. The right to try... Being mature, being human, being kind, being a president, being coherent, being compassionate. I would love if he would try all these things.
