I hope not. My point is that we have moved away not toward Milton Friedman's vision of a good society. Why is he and his ideology blamed for the things that have gone wrong? Why is he described as the mastermind of our policy space? It doesn't pass the sniff test.

I think it's too generic. There are many problems - no single thing explains everything. But dogmatic faith in markets is a major contributor to some extremely important issues: healthcare, real estate securitisation, education cost, big tech predatory practices.

Health care? Education? How do you figure? Over the last 40 years, government has gotten much more involved in both.
