    Will this climate insanity never end. “Inbreeding” and “outbreeding” are both common in nature, and in plant and animal breeding. I’d like to know how a “20% reduction in genetic diversity” was determined. Did they take samples from hundreds of polar bears?

    Polar bear expert : "As far as I can see, it’s all meaningless number-crunching without relevance to the real world of polar bears." What's inbreeding is the media.

    Mostly hype. Thorium is not fissile so it can’t be the fuel. It must be transmuted to U233 in a U235 or Pu239 reactor first. It is not “cleaner”, it has radioactive fission products just like a U235 reactor. There is lots of Thorium so it will increase the fuel supply. Let’s talk

    Here's my British Columbia Vaccine Passport. I am double vaccinated & a Covid survivor, so I do not fear the unvaccinated. It is wrong to make them second-class. Every individual has a right to refuse any medical treatment. Too many lies about Covid and vaccines. Hard to trust.

    Talk about a hollow threat! China is threatening to end cooperation on climate change policy unless US backs off on Taiwan independence, Xinjiang, and South China Sea. Truth is, China is doing zero on CO2 emissions and the US is killing its own economy.

    Well, by far the most replies, & there were 100s of them, either encouraged me to stay on Twitter where I could have some input, or to let them know where I would move to. It took me 8 yrs to get nearly 100K Followers so I think I will change my mind and stay on Twitter. Thanks!

    I am sad to say I must leave Twitter as it continues to host the Taliban with more than 900K Followers. I'm not sure where I will post next. I am allowing 48 hours for advice from my Followers on the best platform to join and rebuild a presence on the web.

    Using wood as fuel was a fundamental advance in human evolution (fire). I agree that massive subsidies are not beneficial. But firewood is never as valuable as lumber. We should use the wood not suitable for lumber as fuel, e.g. for energy or kiln drying lumber. Grow more trees!

    Neither wood nor coal are “worse”. CO2 from coal contains carbon that was lost from the atmosphere millions of years ago & is now being replenished. CO2 from wood is already in the cycle & is re-absorbed annually by sustainability grown forests. CO2 is just plain good for life.

    Thanks to Michael for calling out the fake claim that every flood, fire, heatwave & hurricane is caused by “climate change”. Climate change is a global phenomenon averaged during 30 years. Local & short-lived single events or conditions cannot be automatically blamed on climate.

    People say climate change caused the floods in Europe but the main reason for them was the failure of warning systems, dams, and the public's response. In truth, deaths & damage from flooding in Europe declined dramatically over last 150 years
