Dear . I’m a social worker. I left graduate school 20 yrs ago with over $52,000 in student loans. I’ve made every payment since and still owe $42,000. It’s almost all gone to interest…I’ve paid $48,000 but still owe $42,000😩☠️ 😭🤦🏻♀️ #CancelStudentDebt

“I’m a social worker” basically means I went to graduate school to help people and work for peanuts. I don’t have extra money to pay more than the minimum. And before you say it, I work two jobs too.

Did you need grad school to be a social worker? Feel liked advanced degrees cost more $, and thus require more work to cover their cost...

Yes, to be a social worker you must obtain a masters degree.

So I guess you expect people like me who just got a high school diploma to pay for your loans through taxes... you think college would be worth more than the tuition lol but nah ya'll got played😆

Why should we the tax payer pay for a loan you took? Please someone make sense of that for me? Can we cancel mortgages and car loans too?

it's a good thing that the required payments are pretty low, since it means you don't get dinged on your credit if you hit a financial speed bump, but they need to make people more aware that only making the required payment is most likely a bad idea
