San Francisco as the de facto capital of tech is done. That time and place is over. There’s no point in moving there for tech, the businesses are shut down and people aren’t meeting up. It’s all internet now, for a while. And relocation to towns and cities around the world.

I disagree. speculators are already here, seeking deals. many are in tech. residents who are staying are in it for the long haul, and are mobilizing. remember: destruction breeds opportunity. look at it this way and San Francisco is one hell of an exciting place.

BTW, I was in the financial district the other day, and chatted with one of the security guards. huge building on Market. a bunch of suits were in the lobby. I asked the guard what was up and he said they're leasing three floors.
