The top 2 Fortnite streams on YT Gaming right now are streaming other people’s content.. how is this a thing? @TeamYouTube it isolates and pushes away streamers who are making their own content & not just recycling someone else’s hard work.

That and they run it on 24/7 loop to take advantage of the algorithm. It’s becoming a big problem, but YouTube doesn’t care. I complained about this the other day and Fwiz’s response was “do you guys really care if that’s what people want to watch?”

I think there’s a couple things here - people can stream whatever they want so long as it abides by terms of service. If people want to watch, so be it. What isn’t ok is the click baiting content & stealing people’s content to re-stream, and I want us to crack down on that.

It should be AGAINST ToS to stream and/or steal another person's content or cheat the algorithm. You're confusing the whole situation by saying "If people want to watch it, so be it," but then saying "oh, no, it's not okay stealing content to restream." It needs to be dealt with.
